Theodor Landström (Gothenburg, Sweden. 1999) becomes the third incorporation of the Barcelona Dragons for the 2023 season.

The Wide Receiver (WR) began his career on his hometown team, the Gothenburg Marvels, and his good performance led him to play with the Clarion University of Pennsylvania Golden Eagles in 2019.

Two years later, he returned to Sweden to join the Carlstad Crusaders and help the team reach the semi-finals of the Swedish Super Series. During the shortened three-game basic series, Landström had 15 passes for 291 yards and a touchdown that led the franchise to third in the league. In addition, he started with the Swedish team in the final of the European Championship.

Last season, the Telfs Patriots -an Austrian team in which he also played his compatriot and Dragons teammate Hugo Dyrendahl- signed him for the entire season.

I couldn’t be more excited to sign with the Dragons. Playing at this level has been a personal goal of mine, and I couldn’t be happier”, said the Swede after signing. In turn, he left some detail of his personality on the field: “I’m a very competitive person. Every time I step on the field I want to win. My main priority is always to improve at every chance I get. I always want to put my team in a position to win“.
