RAÚL CERNUDA SIGNS WITH THE BARCELONA DRAGONS

Feb 20, 2023

Raúl Cernuda (Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. 1996) commits himself to the Catalan entity to play in the European League of Football.

The Mallorcan Tight End (TE) is an old American football rocker in Spain. He has notorious experience on his resume and an impressive list of trophies despite being only 26 years old. He began his career in this sport with his hometown team, the Mallorca Voltors, with whom he managed to rise to the elite of Spanish football in 2014, being Serie B champions.

His great physical display and his elegance to catch balls made the Badalona Dracs notice him. The rest of the story, he tells himself. From the 2016 campaign to the 2021 campaign [with a halt in 2020 due to the Pandemic] the Catalan team was the absolute dominator of football in Spain. Cernuda was part of that dynasty that won 5 consecutive LNFA Serie A championships, added to the 5 Spanish Cup trophies, Cernuda being the MVP of the competition in 2017.

I’m proud to be part of the team this year, and very grateful to the Staff and the entire organization for giving me the opportunity to compete in the ELF“, said the attacker. “I have no doubt that this year we will achieve all our goals. I’m looking forward to starting the League and showing my level once again, this time in Europe’s top competition. Go Dragons!”, concluded the Mallorcan.
