Mikel Gómez Barroso commits one more season with the Barcelona Dragons to play, once again, in the European League of Football.

The 26-year-old Offensive Lineman (OL) began taking his first steps with the Cantabria Bisons. In the 2015/2016 season, he packed his bags and changed the city to go to Asturias to sign with the Gijón Mariners. Until last year, the Barcelona Dragons noticed him and the player moved from the Cantabrian Sea to the Mediterranean Sea.

“I’m very grateful for the opportunity to play another year with the team, and very excited about how the season is going“, said Gómez after his signing was made official. “I think being able to play with both teammates and coaches is a real privilege and a reason for us to be a team to consider to play for the championship. Thank you very much to all of you who are part of it and trust in us”, concluded the offensive lineman.
