Darius Slade (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. 1995) becomes the first North American signing of the Barcelona Dragons’ 2023 season.

Everything achieved earned him to be considered one of the 20 best senior prospects in New Jersey. After also going through Arizona State, Slade played for the South Florida Bulls, where he not only captained the team, but recorded a total of 32 tackles, 2 sacks and forced a fumble in a monstrous action.

I’m just a kid from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a dream to play football at the professional level. I’m excited to be able to represent the Barcelona franchise on and off the field in a positive way and to continue the winning tradition that has already been built”, said the Pennsylvanian. To which he added: “I look forward to competing with my teammates and being a part of this brotherhood”.
